The Center for Applied Genetics and Genomic Medicine (TCAG2M) is a new and growing community at the University of Arizona striving to foster productive collaborations and provide expertise in the area of precision medicine. The Center sponsors research forums and workshops, fosters educational opportunities, develops and implements clinical genetic diagnostics, and provides infrastructure for improvement of clinical management. By participating in this thriving community of precision medicine researchers, Members have the opportunity to more deeply explore and understand biological variation underlying disease, and to devise novel approaches that take advantage of these variations to diagnose, treat, and manage disease.

TCAG2M has two categories of Membership, one for faculty and staff (Members) and another for trainees (Associate Members). All applications for membership in TCAG2M are directed to the Director of the primary program of interest listed by the applicant. The program leader provides the primary review of the application and recommendation of the applicant to the Membership Committee. Authority for appointment and discontinuation of membership in TCAG2M lies with the Director of TCAG2M, who has final approval authority of Membership Committee recommendations.
