From more effective and safer prescription drugs and better treatment for cancer, to enhanced screening for patients to identify disease at the earliest stage, precision health approaches are changing the practice of medicine. Physicians, genetic counselors, nurses, and other healthcare providers are at the forefront of precision health initiatives throughout the country, and right here in Arizona.

The Center for Applied Genetics and Genomic Medicine (TCAG2M) is enabling healthcare providers at the University of Arizona and beyond to implement precision health practices into their everyday patient care. Through strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, we enabling practitioners to use precision medicine to improve the health of the people of Arizona.
